The Atheist Religion

I’ve noticed a lot of discussions between Atheists and Christians. There seems to be a lot of flaming from both sides.

Usually the Atheist professes to be more intelligent and free-thinking than any Christian. They talk as if what they’re saying is fact, and that the Bible is a fairytale.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools… who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creation more than the Creator. (Romans 1)

I feel that Atheists have to be really ignorant to believe the entire universe could come to exist by pure random chance. Atheists really don’t put any brain-time into their creation theology. And that should set off some alarms already.

Some Christians misrepresent God and might have actually caused Atheists to dislike God. The thing that most people don’t realize is that a meeting with God is very liberating. People expect judgment and condemnation, but in Christ there is no (yes, zero!) condemnation. (Romans 8:1).

I believe most ‘Atheists’, when faced with their death beds, will cry out to God. Atheists do believe that some higher power exists, but they refuse to acknowledge Him. They are reluctant to get to know Him because it’s more convenient that way.

I’m afraid that no person is with excuse, and Romans 1 is clear on this: For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made (creatures/us), even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations (theology, theories and ideologies), and their foolish heart was darkened.

To be honest, a lot of what the world see about Christianity is actually wrong, with churches misrepresenting God many times.

I’d like to suggest every Atheist, because they like to think of themselves as open-minded, buy themselves a Bible and spend time in the New Testament. You may just meet God, too….

You will like what you find.

And that’s my 2 cents…

About Satan

I’ve seen people ask some questions about doctrinal issues surrounding Satan.

The Word of God is pretty clear and we can use it to answer these questions.

Satan didn’t create hell – he can’t change it. Its His destiny and there is nothing he can do about it, other than tricking the children of God into entering hell too. After all, the devil is called the master deceiver, the father of all lies (Rev. 12:9, John 8:44).

God created hell for Satan and his angels. God doesn’t want a single person in hell.  John 3:16 reads : For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord isn’t slow to do what he promised, as some people think. Rather, he is patient for your sake. He doesn’t want to destroy anyone but wants all people to have an opportunity to turn to him and change the way they think and act.

People ask why doesn’t Satan do more evil? Where do you think sickness originates from? And poverty? And lust? Violence and murder? Have you seen the spiritual powers at work at Satanic meetings?

Some ask why isn’t God more active in the world today? They want to see things like healings happen. They do, but the problem is that we are the rulers of this world, but we’re ineffective. God gave us all the authority, but we sit on our hands. Luke 10:18-19 reads: Jesus said to them, “I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning. I have given you the authority to trample snakes and scorpions and to destroy the enemy’s power. Nothing will hurt you.

Sadly Satan is working in many Christians’ lives, simply because they don’t know the Word of God. He puts condemnation on them; he deceives them to believe they have no power; he makes them try to earn salvation and reminds them how miserably they fail; he takes their boldness; he makes them value other people’s opinions more than God’s opinion. And He leaves them weak and powerless. Yes, they’re saved because they believe in Christ. But to be brutally honest, they’re pretty much useless for the expansion of the Kingdom of God.

Satan isn’t omniscient, he isn’t all powerful. He’s just a fallen angel. Sometimes Christians live as if the devil is God’s equal, like an evil twin. I’m sorry to tell you, but (fortunately) it’s not a fair fight. The devil is just a fallen angel. God created Lucifer, who then got sour and tried to exalt himself above the King of Kings.

If Satan really was all-knowing, don’t you think he would’ve let Herodes kill Jesus when He was a baby? But he couldn’t find Jesus, because he didn’t know where Christ was! Satan is so limited. Be are exalted far above him.

In the words of Curry Blake: “We are God’s sons, Satan’s master, and people’s servant”.

Its time for us Christians to grow a pair and start living the Bible.

Yes I just said that, and that’s my 2 cents.

In the beginning God

I believe the story of our existence is fundamental. It certainly is a topic that should be given some brain-time.

There are those Christians who argue that evolution is the work of God. I’ve heard people call evolution ‘one of those mind-boggling, majestic and mysterious tools of God’. Seriously? So He just created animals He really didn’t want, and then watched them evolve through natural selection over millions of years into something He does want?

That doesn’t sound like God. Natural selection is a system that works through death and destruction by killing off the majority of a specie to favour the minority. ‘God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all’. 1 John

The whole NS thing just doesn’t work for macro evolution. Suppose an ox-like mammal turns into a whale (yes, that’s what some evolutionists believe). Halfway through, the creature won’t be able to either walk or swim properly, making it an easy target for predators. Back to square 1.

No DNA info can be added to a creature through Natural Selection. Only existing info is highlighted. It’s not natural creation, it just selects. A fish has no DNA to grow a wing and feathers, and that won’t change no matter how many millions of years you add.

It’s important to differentiate between micro and macro evolution. The one is real and the other a religion (something you believe in without having evidence, aiming to answer questions to your existence). All scientific evidence points to micro evolution, but it is macro evolution that is taught as fact.

We all know micro evolution. A dog, through breeding, can get a shorter snout, for instance. That has been observed and there is proper scientific evidence for it. But macro evolution, where two different kinds of animals share a common ancestor, is a religious THEORY and not based on scientific evidence. It’s not science at all.

Micro evolution can be the result of mistakes during DNA replication, but these DNA bloopers are rarely beneficial. And even when it is, it still doesn’t add any data to the creature’s DNA. A fish still can’t make feathers or grow wings. It might just be able adapt to fresher water, for example. That’s the difference between micro and macro evolution.

To propose that the “days” of Genesis are not literal, but are symbolic for undefined eons of time, in an attempt to weave evolution into the creation story, introduces death before Adam and Eve existed, since it proposes that man is the peak of a slow process that took millions of years to evolve from simple forms of life. And if death was not introduced by God as the penalty for the sin of Adam and Eve, then the wages of sin is not death, God is actually responsible for creating an imperfect world that had its origins in death and random evolutionary events BEFORE man ever sinned – and this makes Genesis a lie! Man then did not fall, he evolved as a sinner since he is the product of a process of death and he therefore bears no guilt at all for sinning against God and introducing death to the world. If man is not responsible for sin and death, then the need to repent and turn to our Savior Jesus Christ evaporates before our very eyes!

Why mess with the perfectly good Word of God to help an imperfect theory fit?

From the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly observed in what he made. As a result, people have no excuse. They knew God but did not praise and thank him for being God. Instead, their thoughts were total nonsense, and their misguided minds were plunged into darkness. While claiming to be wise, they became fools. (Romans 1:20-22)

And that’s my 2 cents….

Hello world!

Welcome to my new blog, called 2 Cents Each. I’ll be using this page to post some random thoughts that fill my mind.

Much like the thoughts in my mind, this blog too will not be about a specific topic.

But I’ll tell you this, I design websites from here —> Ayoba Designs and I’m a big fan of God.

Please feel free to share your thoughts on the topics discussed on my blog.

Gangsters keep it real. You should too.

And that was my first 2 cents!
