Spiritual Warfare Tactics

I write this post about one of the most important things I’ve learnt from healing teachings, specifically those of Curry Blake.

When engaging in spiritual warfare, attacking the works of Satan, one has to adopt a military approach. When one gets serious in God’s army it helps to study the principles of natural warfare.

I present you with the warrior ethos:

1. Always put the mission first. Prioritize your life decisions around the work of the Army. Gear how you spend your time, money, time and resources toward the Kingdom. Make disciples of all the world. Reach the world at any cost. This is your life mission.

2. Never quit. Be cautious to never get distraceted from the Great Commission.

With just these two points we could change the world.

3. Never accept defeat. If you fail, you learn from it and attack again.

4. Never leave a fallen comrade. If a brother falls, don’t kick him out because he is an embarrassment. Bring such a person back and restore him.

Next, we look at the Prime Directives.

1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and strength.

2. Love your neighbour as yourself.

3. Do to others as you would have done to you.

These directives encompass the entirety of Christianity. If we could manage to live these simple principles we will be the effective Christians the Bible teach us to be.

God at War – The Bible & Spiritual Conflict

This blog post is still in progress.

Here are some quotes from Gregory A. Boyd’s book entitled God At War

  • It is possible that our tendency to assume that the worldview we hold is ultimately the true worldview – is preventing us from seeing significant features of reality
  • If all evil is believed to serve a higher divine purpose, then clearly one’s sense of urgency in fighting it is compromised, while one’s ability to render it intelligible is diminished
  • The New Testament exhibits a church that is not intellectually baffled by evil but is spiritually empowered to vanquishing it, the Western tradition has more frequently exhibited a church that is perpetually baffled by evil but significantly ineffective and largely apathetic toward combating it.
  • The problem of evil that the New Testament authors grappled with was simply the problem of overcoming it. The problem of evil we Westerners usually grapple with is the problem of intellectually understanding what we unfortunately rarely seek to overcome
  • Abstractions distract us from that immediate reality of evil and reduce evil to a statistic
  • Only when the abstractions are put aside can we see the Devil gloating over suffering
  • Does God’s omnipotence necessarily entail that God is all-controlling, as the classical-philosophical tradition after Augustine has inclined us to assume?
  • Does affirming that God is omnipotent commit one to the view that a good divine purpose lies behind all particular events, no matter how evil?
  • Whenever we ask “Why do bad things happen to good people?” we are reflecting the widespread (and wrong) assumption that bad things are supposed to happen to bad people. That must be how God “get’s even” and sinners learn their lesson.
  • People suffer, we are to wrongly believe, because they deserve it!. This is not true
  • Like God, we are given a dominion of authority – the earth – not because God needs help, as in pagan mythology, but simply because having this sort of dominion is what being godlike means.
  • When we fight, we do not do so on our own power, but God himself reenacts his primal victory over these destructive forces through us.
  • When we “take up arms” against corporate greed, and when we follow the call of the Lord in feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, sheltering the homeless, befriending the guilty, embracing the socially repulsive, and siding with victims, we are participating in God’s cosmic struggle against cosmic chaotic forces of destruction.
  • We resist the anticreation forces that oppose God whenever we do anything that genuinely restores creation (incl. ourselves) to the place where God originally planned it to be.

RE: Insufficient Instruction as Failure to Receive Healing

f.f. Boswort, Christ The Healer PDF front cover

FF Bosworth – Christ the Healer

This post is in response to the well-known publication on Christian healing by F.F Bosworth (Fred Francis Bosworth), entitled Christ the Healer. As reference, you can download the original Christ the Healer PDF, or alternatively try F.F. Bosworth: Christ the Healer.pdf. Also see Amazon: F.F Bosworth – Christ the Healer.

F.F. Bosworth was an evangelist in the early 1900’s, with a great healing ministry attributed to him. His book Christ the Healer (more than half a million copies sold)  contains excellent material on the subject of healing, but fails at chapter 13 – Why Some Fail to Receive Healing from Christ. This quote from Curry Blake is very true: “The only hindrances to healing, is believing there are hindrances to healing.”

I’d like to take F.F. Bosworth’s supposed hindrances or burdens to healing and disprove them with the Bible, to make known God’s goodness, His power and the simplicity of the Gospel.

Bosworth starts chapter 13 – Why Some Fail To Receive Healing From Christ, with the following paragraph.

It is so clearly revealed throughout the Scriptures that the Heavenly Father wills our healing.

Why do some who seek healing, fail to receive it? This question is in the minds of many honest inquirers. There are several answers to this question, which we will mention briefly. By these answers many have been helped who had previously failed to receive healing.Consequently, they have been gloriously healed.

Christ the Healer front cover

F.F Bosworth – Christ the Healer reprint

Then, the first supposed burden, or reason for failure regarding healing, Bosworth calls “Insufficient Instruction.”

The first reason for not receiving healing is ignorance concerning the healing power of the Gospel. Paul tell us that “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”(Romans 10:17) Many have sought healing from Christ before they heard or knew enough of the Word of God. They have not had a steadfast faith.

He states that anyone looking to receive healing must first meditate on God’s Word to learn His will.

I want you to look at the following Bible Scripture:

Mark 16:15-18
And he said unto them, Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe;  In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

I’d like to point out here the commonly known fact that anyone is free to receive forgiveness and redemption through believing and confessing Jesus Christ is Lord. This is absolutely free, regardless of your knowledge of the Bible. Most scholars accept this. Why then do we have to “work” for our healing? No, healing is a gift – and gifts are free. Healing isn’t a reward, it is a gift. You don’t work for it or earn it.

Mark 16 makes no differentiation between those who can believe, and those who can heal. Neither does 1 Peter 2 separate redemption and healing. If you can receive the one, you can receive the other.

Jesus Christ even said we will will be able to do the same miracles He did, and more! Look at the following verses in John 14:

 John 14:12-14
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Now, continuing to quote F.F. Bosworth on the supposed hindrance to receiving your healing:

We have seen that God’s way of producing faith for healing is the same as that of producing faith for salvation. This is the way for any other blessing. The needy one should first learn, from the Scriptures, what God’s will is in the matter. The hand of faith cannot reach out and take from God what the eye of faith does not first see to be the will of God.

While I have to agree that one should make up your mind about God’s will on healing (read the Bible – God wants everyone to be healed all the time!), I must add that one can receive healing through someone else’s faith. In fact, a Christian can pray for anybody, without their permission, for healing because the Christian is exercising his dominion over demons and principalities, not the sick person. To quote Curry Blake: “You are God’s son, man’s servant, and the devil’s master”.

Jesus never said to anyone who was sick to first meditate on the scriptures and get to know God’s will. No, he instantly healed people on His own faith. Similarly, should someone be ill, fellow Christians should be able to heal that person if his faith is lacking. To prove this, look at James 5.

James 5:13-15
Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

You see, it would be unfair to expect of a person in need of healing to first meditate on the Word of God. What if his lack of healing costs him his faith, and he passes away of his sickness? No, God tells us clearly that if any one is sick and he can’t receive healing on his own, other Christians should be able to perform the healing.

The point that I’d like to get across with this post is this: If one needs healing and you have trouble manifesting it yourself, let someone else heal you. “Lack of instruction” is not a hindrance to healing. Remember, Jesus healed some people on his faith, not theirs.

Christ is our HealerIn the same breath I’d like to remind you that Jesus said we will do the same works as He did, and even greater. So we must identify with Him (as having power over sickness), and not as the sick, un-renewed and un-born-again sick people in the Bible.

Again, to quote Curry Blake:

  • “When a son of God speaks, Heaven hears and agree. Hell hears and obey.”
  • “There is no reason why any person should not be healed.”
  • “The Name of Jesus and what it stands for and represents is ENOUGH to get ANY job done and ANY need met.”
  • “Jesus only gave 2 reasons for failure, and every failure can be traced back to one of these: Unbelief or Traditions of Man.”
  • “The Bible is a receipt of what was PAID FOR by Jesus.”
  • “Most people talk to God about their problems, when in reality, what you ought to do is talk to your problem about God.”
  • “There is no hinderance to God except YOU!”

Q: If healing was already paid for 2000 years ago, why am I still sick?
A: Remember, healing is warfare! Sickness enters your body ILLEGALLY. Its up to you to take authority of it. Compare it to a country’s law: it is illegal to steal, yet thieves still do. It is up to the police to enforce the law. Now enforce the healing Jesus Christ paid for! The reason why we’ll do greater works than Jesus is because we’re facing an enemy that’s already been defeated.

Q: Can it be that God doesn’t want me healed?
A: God can’t say ‘No’ to a promise He’s already said ‘Yes’ to. He said we will have dominion over every evil thing and the believers will lay hands on the sick and they will be healed. God said it. I believe it. That settles it! No need to question God on his will/goodness. No army ever won a war by showing how much it could suffer. God does NOT use the devil to spank you.

The only hindrances to healing, is believing there are hindrances to healing!

Wrong teachings about God’s Spirit, Presence and Anointing

I have recently gotten hold of some supposed Christian teachings on God’s spirit and His presence. I would like to refute some of the statements made in this text, because they are such common teachings in Christian circles. And that is the reason I feel the need to write this article, because the teachings are widely taught, but very wrong.

To refute, I will use the New Testament teachings as opposed to the Old Testament Scriptures the author used in the material I read.

The material starts by relates our lives to that of Samson and the prophets of the Old Testament. It quotes the following Old Testament Scriptures:

Judges 13:25
And the Spirit of the Lord began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol

The key here is that God’s Spirit only moved Samson at times.

1 Samuel 10:9-10 (talking about prophets)
And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day. And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.

Note again that the Spirit wasn’t always with Saul, but came upon him at times. The Jews of the Old Testament didn’t have the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and they couldn’t voluntarily get God’s Spirit whenever they wanted. They had to wait for the Spirit to come onto them. This is similar to what some Christians may call “the anointing” or “being lead by the Spirit”.

Then the author of this material I am referring to, makes a bold statement and says: Though God’s Spirit can lead us, God can also lift His spirit from us.

1 Samuel 16:14
But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.

Also look at these Old Testament Scriptures to learn about God’s Spirit, presence and anointing relating to the Old Testament Jews: Job 33:4, Psalms 104:30, Psalms 139:7-16, Psalms 143:10, Ezekiel 36:26-27, Joel 2:28-29, Micah 3:8.

The mistake the author of this material made is that all these Scriptures relate to the Old Testament Jews. They have no relation to Christians. Christians live under the New Covenant, following Jesus Christ, both Jew and Gentile. Unless you were first a Jew, you never were under the Old Testament. These Scriptures teach us nothing about God’s Spirit, presence and anointing in relation to Christians.

Then this text continues into the New Testament (strictly still Old Covenant because Jesus is yet to die on the cross here) with Matthew 3:16 and says the Spirit is seen in physical form “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him.”

Again, another wrong teaching which is common in Christian circles that I’d like to point out. The Bible clearly says the Spirit descended on Jesus like a dove, referring symbolically to a dove.

Now I would like to contrast these Old Testament Scriptures with New Testament texts about God’s Spirit, anointing and presence. You will see how this differs from common church teachings. The truth willl set you free, but first it will make you mad!

First, Jesus Christ promises the Holy Spirit:

John 14:16-17
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.

In Romans 8 we learn more about the Spirit:

Romans 8
9. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

From just using a few verses in Romans 8, I have already showed that under the New Covenant the Spirit of God dwells in us, as opposed do being upon the Jews as in the Old Testament. Verse 14 says that as many as are led by the Spirit are the sons of God, and the very next verse says that we have received the Spirit of God and became children of God.

Also, many Christians like to quote 1 Cor 2:9-16: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. Paul just quoted an Old Testament Scripture, and then says in the next verse: But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. Thus, Christians should already know the things which God has prepared for them that love Him through the Holy Spirit given to them.

Continuing with 11 Corinthians 2:
… 12. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Again note that we have received the Spirit of God, He is now in us and no longer comes upon us or “visits”.

1 Corinthians 3:16
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

1 John 4:15
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him, and he in God.

You see, the Spirit of God dwells inside the spirit of Christians. How then can we wait for an “anointing” like the prophets of old, who did not have the Spirit of God in them? What more “leading” do we need other than great commission and the Spirit of God?

The teaching that says that Christians should not do anything until they get a leading from God is detrimental to God’s Kingdom. God already gave us His Spirit, we know His heart, be have the Bible to lead us. What more do we need?

I love the following quotes from Curry Blake:

  • Jesus said if you drink the water He gives, you will NEVER thirst again. You will never hunger or thirst. There is a difference between thirsting/ hungering and zeal. Thirsting keeps you waiting….Zeal gets you busy doing the Fathers will. If you thirst, you will be filled (no longer thirsting).
  • Don’t follow signs. Let the signs follow you.
  • I don’t need revival. I am revived!
  • To know the will of God, read the Bible. To be led by the Spirit, DO the Bible.

Things I want you to remember:

  • All Christians have God’s Spirit in them (Acts 15:8-9)
  • God’s Spirit, presence or anointing doesn’t come and go, but is constantly in Christians, forever (John 14:16-17)
  • Where God’s Spirit is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). You are free, and you set others free too.
  • Don’t wait for God’s “anointing”, you ARE God’s anointed
  • Never try to work for, buy or negotiate to receive God’s presence – you already have it
  • Where you are, God’s Spirit is.
  • You don’t have to wait for a revival, you ARE a revival
  • The same supernatural power that raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you (Romans 8:11)

John Piper and ‘Wasting Your Cancer’.

I have come across an article and book authored by Pastor John Piper, entitled “Don’t Waste Your Cancer” (link to article). Even though I haven’t read the book, the article is quite shocking.

It contains some terrifying teachings about healing and sickness which I believe are damaging to God’s Kingdom.

“I believe in God’s power to heal—by miracle and by medicine. I believe it is right and good to pray for both kinds of healing. Cancer is not wasted when it is healed by God. He gets the glory and that is why cancer exists. So not to pray for healing may waste your cancer. But healing is not God’s plan for everyone. And there are many other ways to waste your cancer. I am praying for myself and for you that we will not waste this pain.”

According to the article you will ‘waste your cancer’ if:

  • You do not believe it is designed for you by God
  • You believe it is a curse and not a gift
  • You refuse to think about death
  • You think that “beating” cancer means staying alive rather than cherishing Christ
  • You treat sin as casually as before

Satan’s and God’s designs in your cancer are not the same. Satan designs to destroy your love for Christ. God designs to deepen your love for Christ. Cancer does not win if you die. It wins if you fail to cherish Christ. God’s design is to wean you off the breast of the world and feast you on the sufficiency of Christ. It is meant to help you say and feel, “I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.” And to know that therefore, “To live is Christ, and to die is gain”

My intention is that instead of bashing the Pastor who wrote this, we combat the false teaching by speaking Biblical truth and life. And we pray and break Satan’s power over the book and article and make it of non affect, to rather allow people to experience God’s goodness. That no person will be influenced by that wrong teaching. And let the author come to realize that sickness and death is straight from the pit of hell!

The truth:

1 John 1:5: This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

John 10:10: The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: But I [Jesus] came that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Anything that steals, kills, or destroys your life is the work of Satan. Jesus came that we may have life in abundance. Cancer is a sickness straight from hell designed to kill people. Living with cancer is NOT God’s will.

Acts 10:34 says that God is no respecter of persons. Yet, people say that sickness is judgement from God. I’d like to ask those people what makes them think that other people are judged for their sins, but not them? So the people who have cancer ‘sinned more’ that those who don’t have?

You will waste your cancer if you treat sin as casually as before.

If I interpret this correctly, Pastor Piper feels that cancer may be the result of sin. This is in no way a Biblical teaching.

Romans 8:1: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

If it is true that God condemns no one who is in Christ, how can it possibly be that sickness is inflicted by God? Sickness and death is the work of devils.

You will waste your cancer if you think that “beating” cancer means staying alive rather than cherishing Christ

People should take up the authority God gave us over death and sickness. God’s will is that we are healed and live healthily in a relationship with Him. If we were meant to live in Heaven, God would have created us there.

And that is my 2Cents

Quotes From Curry Blake

As mentioned in my previous post, I have learnt a lot from Curry R. Blake’s teachings. He has taken over the famous faith healer John G. Lake’s ministry.

Here I have combined some of his quotes which really stuck with me. Most of these quotes have been posted at the JGLM forum.

If your gospel isn’t touching others, it hasn’t touched you.

God will use you. Don’t think that he’ll just use you for headaches. He will use you to do ANYTHING that needs to be.

The power of God is mechanical.

You are God’s son, man’s servant, and the devil’s master.

The truth willl set you free, But first it will make you mad.

If you haven’t found a gospel worth dying for, you haven’t found a gospel worth living for.

When a son of God speaks, Heaven hears and agree. Hell hears and obey.

Healing isn’t a reward, it is a gift. You don’t work for it or earn it.

If your knowledge of the word of God exceeds your obedience to the word, you are a backslider

Be hard on self, easy on others. You can give them truth, but don’t expect others to consistently walk at a standard that you have set for yourself. If you set yourself with the standard of the Bible, that is good. But, give people mercy. Give them room to grow. Everybody doesn’t know what you know. Everybody hasn’t studied as much as you’ve studied. Everybody hasn’t been where you’ve been. So give them room.

People dont care how much you know, until the know how much you care.

True apostolic ministry doesn’t say ‘Come sit at my feet and let me be your father’…it says GO. Apostolic ministries don’t gather…they spread. When you gather, you build an empire. When you spread, you build the Kingdom of God.

Fasting doesn’t get you power. Fasting gets you out of the way so power can flow easier.

Healing is warfare!

A lot of people today would rather be lied to with a smile and soft words than to be told the truth without mincing words. They think that if their feelings get hurt then the person who hurt their feelings was not walking in love. This is the surest sign of spiritual immaturity.

Anything that prevents you from blessing of God is a devil for you to overcome and destroy.

Friends are like elevators, they will either take you up or bring you down, but they will never leave you in the same place.

Quit having faith in your faith.

God can’t say ‘No’ to a promise He’s already said ‘Yes’ to.

You will never be who you are supposed to be if you can’t forget who you used to be.

There is no reason why any person should not be healed.

You can’t have resurrection life until there is a death, and you won’t have a death until you decide that your old life is something you hate.

To the degree that your mind is renewed, is the degree that your life is transformed.

Exalt God…Exhort Men…Exhaust the devil.

The Name of Jesus and what it stands for and represents is ENOUGH to get ANY job done and ANY need met.

What we’ll give our eyes to, we’ll be doing.

Jesus only gave 2 reasons for failure, and every failure can be traced back to one of these: Unbelief or Traditions of Man.”

Jesus never said “gather up and sit” He said, “As you go, preach and heal”.

The reason why we’ll do greater works than Jesus is because we’re facing an enemy that’s already been defeated.

The Bible is a receipt of what was PAID FOR by Jesus.

You are not a leader if you will not say what you believe simply because you fear the consequences.

The fastest way to know what’s really in someone’s heart is to remove all restrictions.

Jesus said if you drink the water He gives, you will NEVER thirst again. You will never hunger or thirst. There is a difference between thirsting/ hungering and zeal. Thirsting keeps you waiting….Zeal gets you busy doing the Fathers will. If you thirst, you will be filled (no longer thirsting).

The church is so busy training people to go out, that they feel like they are doing something…when in fact, they are just staying busy but not going out to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, raise the dead and cast out demons!

If believing in God was the only requirement to get saved, then devils would be saved too. Devils believe and tremble when hearing His name and because they KNOW His power. Some Christians believe and don’t even tremble . Other Christians believe and obey. Which one are you?

If the harvest is ready, you are ripe!

You are made perfect as you work.

If you wake up on Sunday, and you do not go to Church, some Christians have a religious withdrawel because they are so addicted to their Sunday morning service and they are taught that if they do not go, then…… .

Train the way you want to fight, because that is the way you are going to fight!

No army ever won a war by showing how much it could suffer.

If you’re gonna talk it, live it.

Most people talk to God about their problems, when in reality, what you ought to do is talk to your problem about God.

Most people are trying to live a resurrected life without dying.

The greatest deliverance you ever get is from yourself. Forget yourself! Get over yourself!

The devil wants you on yourself.

Fasting is getting you out of yourself.

You are a Spirit, you have a soul, & you live in a body.

There is no part of you that is good. You have to die.

I don’t make decisions based on money. I go & know God will provide when I get there.

You can’t feed the hungry if you are hungry.

The fullness of God is him living IN us.

You do what you can where you are with what you’ve got.

A sin you will defend is a sin you are in. Jesus preached a gospel that made grown men walk away from everything they had.

There is no hinderance to God except YOU!

If you are HID IN CHRIST your life is hid in him, then the enemy can’t find you to put something on you.

Wherever you are the Kingdom of God is there.

God does NOT use the devil to spank you.

God has NEVER said anything negative about you.

When you make decisions based on money, then money is your God. Don’t make decisions based on money, make them based on God’s will for your life & the money will come.

If you want boldness, get sure.

Don’t hang on to the world. Touch the world, & hang on to God.

Knowledge puffs up, love builds up.

The devil in under our feet because he is under Jesus’ feet.

We are ordinary people who have an extraordinary God. The essence of Christianity is in the being, not in the doing.

Correction is for restoration, not for destruction. If you are going to error make one in His favor not against Him.

What is in you is BIGGER than what is outside of you.

Don’t follow signs. Let the signs follow you.

I don’t need revival. I am revived!

If you pray, believe, then receive.

Judge things. Not people.

To know the will of God, read the Bible. To be led by the Spirit, DO the Bible.

The first preacher of the gospel was a woman.

The world is waiting for us to grow up & show up.

My job, and the job of the five-fold ministry, is to work ourselves out of a job.

You find out what the Word of God says, you decide to agree with it and believe it. Then you begin doing it, you do it every time. You force yourself to do it, you force yourself to do it when you don’t feel like it. You never have to force yourself to do stuff you want to do. So discipline comes in when you don’t want to.

Training means doing what you’ve been taught; to practise and drill it, because when you get in the heat of the battle, you can’t THINK, you have to REACT, and you will react according to where the majority of your mind is.

An Old Covenant mindset says: “I’m not good enough. I don’t have enough. I need more…”.

Curry Blake’s Teachings Available to Download (MP3, PDF, video)

Firstly, I would like to state that I am in no way affiliated with JGLM (John G. Lake Ministries, or Jesus Gives Life Ministries!).

I have posted this page to help other people easily find life-changing JGLM resources to download and share. This is a work-in-progress and any help and suggestions will be appreciated.

The teachings I have heard by Curry R. Blake have changed my life. I believe many others should listen to how simple Curry presents the gospel. He is well-known for his success with, and teachings on, healing. His healing course is called the Divine Healing Technicians (DHT) and he takes a purely Biblical approach to healing. The aim of the DHT is to teach anyone to understand and practice healing according to the Bible.

Other popular teachings available to download include the New Man and Spiritual Warfare.

I have found some links that may be useful to those who would like to learn more of Curry Blake’s Biblical teachings. Materials are available to download in MP3, video and PDF manuals. You can download them for personal use and to share with other people.

If you know where more Curry Blake and JGLM materials can LEGALLY be downloaded, please let me know so I can put it up here.

Here are the links:
